# TxEnvelopeLegacy.serialize

Serializes a [`TxEnvelopeLegacy.TxEnvelopeLegacy`](/api/TxEnvelopeLegacy/types#txenvelopelegacy).

### Attaching Signatures

It is possible to attach a `signature` to the serialized Transaction Envelope.
